Cooney has been a serial eco-entrepreneur since 2003, having started and grown five mission-driven companies, with three successful exits. He is a McGraw-Hill published author and former professor in the MBA program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he taught the first sustainable business course in the University of Hawaii system.
